HAVE YOU EVER SEEN THE RAIN Creedance Clearwater Revival

 C G
Some one told me long ago There a calm before the storm I know
It's been coming for some time
 C G
When it's over so they say It'll rain a sunny day I know
Shining down like water

        F G C Am
CHORUS I wanna know have you ever seen the rain
        F G C Am
I wanna know have you ever seen the rain
                   F G C
coming down on a sunny day
  C G
Yesterday and days before Sun is cold and rain is hard I know
Been that way for all my time
Till forever on it goes through the circle fast and slow I know
and I can't stop I wonder

The following additional work by Darragh Egan:

Here's a cool riff for "Have You Ever Seen The Rain". It roughly mimics the
bass guitar and occurs several times in the song. It's played on the fifth
and sixth strings. It's played in the intro and at the end of certain phrases.

       |3--2----0------------|3- [C chord for rest of bar)

By the way, the intro for that song is |Am |F |C |riff x2

I also like the great descending bass line in the chorus:
F G C C/B Am Am7/G
I wanna know have you ever seen the rain
