Mrs. Peter Perkins is going to wash in her automatic oscillating one-of-a-kind washing machine with the mish mush motor and turning tub-tubs in the center. Cosmo, the cat and Dagmar Dog follow her as she dashingly dances through the house gathering all her manly male's dirty clothes. They watch her put the white clothes into the automatic oscillating one-of-a-kind washing machine with the mish mush motor and turning tub-tubs in the center and gracefully set the dial. Then Cosmo, the cat and Dagmar Dog roll up in the clothes on the floor and go to sleep. It happens! The automatic oscillating one-of-a-kind washing machine with the mish mush motor and turning tub-tubs in the center groans and stops. The mish mush motor clacks. The tub-tubs in the center sends up a stream of soapy sudsy water to the ceiling. The falling suds hit Dagmar Dog and Cosmo, the Cat. Whoosh---out the door they go almost upsetting graceful Mrs. Peter Perkins who is trying to pull the electric energy cord feeding the automatic oscillating one-of-a-kind washing machine with the mish mush motor and turning tub-tubs in the center out of the wall socket. The washer suddenly stands silent and solemn in a big puddle of soapy suds. Mrs. Peter Perkins starts to cry. Hungry Harry Perkins comes hurrying home from school. "What is my merry mother crying for?" he soulfully says. "My automatic oscillating washing machine with the mish mush motor and turning tub-tubs in the center is broken," Mrs. Peter Perkins sobs, "and you will have no clean clothes to wear." "I will fix it!' Harry announces happily. But he can't, so he starts to cry. Mr. Peter Perkins perkily bounces through the kitchen's scraping screen door. He hears his wife and son crying. "What is my wonderful wife and solitary son crying about?" he asks. "My automatic oscillating washing machine with the mish mush motor and turning tub-tubs in the center is broken," Mrs. Peter Perkins sobs. "We can't fix it, so you will have no clean clothes to wear." "I will fix it!" Mr. Peter Perkins confidently confers. But he can't, so he, too, gives way to tears. Slow Sam, the hired man, wanders wearily into the house. He hears everyone crying. "Why are all you beautiful bountiful people crying?" he says. "My automatic oscillating one-of-a-kind washing machine with the mish mush motor and tub-tubs in the center is broken. We can't fix it, so no one will have clean clothes to wear," Mrs. Peter Perkins sobs. Slow Sam smiles knowingly. "That is my job. I know how to fix automatic oscillating one-of-a-kind washing machines with mish mush motors and turning tub-tubs in the centers better than anyone." And he does!!!!!
