Any one who knows us knows about our stone gate and retaining wall. We tried to hire out the work, but that didn't work out too well. We were told that we couldn't learn this skill in a million years by the gentlemen who we hired, then had to fire due to his 1 1/2 hours of work a day and charging us for 8 hours. This, friends, is not the way to do business. I'd like to point out that since we have our retaining wall and gate a million years ain't as long as I had originally thought. So for months (seemed like years of hard time) we selected, broke, fitted hard rock and built a retaining wall in the backyard and the entry stonegate. I must credit Paul with most of this building for when I just couldn't get out there he did. It was only after this stonework was done that I found out Paul hated the job as much or maybe more then I did. I say more cause like I said I wasn't always out there with him. We have some rock work left to do but it must wait until we get the garage and house up. Just small decorative walls along the driveway. Shouldn't take more then, mmmmmm, 250,000 years, right?

More stonework is planned but not for a while yet. Nothing as ambitious as we have already done. This is a personal web page and is not a company. Email The Franceschinis (Paul and Alice) with any comments or questions you might have.
